Open Water Scuba Diver Course

The course consists of:

1.            5 class sessions.  Options: 

·         In-class with an instructor, once a week.

·         In-home CD ROM, instructor available.  (Add $25.00)

     2.    5 pool sessions, Sundays.  Call for next class.

     3.    4 open water training dives (required for certification).  Equipment included.  May be scheduled with another PADI facility in the south.

Requirements:

·         Must be 14 years old or older.

·         Must be able to swim 200 metres without stopping.

·         Must be able to stay on the surface for 10 minutes, float or tread water.

·         Must be in good health.

Personal Equipment:

·         Mask, snorkel, fins, boots (Note that open heeled fins and boots are needed for training dives.)  Combo available from me for $220.00.  Order early.  Cash in advance.

·         Bathing suit and towel

·         Lock for YMCA locker

Cost:   $450.00.  Includes:

·         Crew-Pak with Student Record File, Manual, Log Book, Dive Planner and instruction booklet  (For Crew-Pak with CD ROM add $25.00.)

·         Instructor

·         All equipment except personal (mask, snorkel, fins, boots, bathing suit, towel, lock)

·         Pool rental
